    Dear Mr. Burkhardt,
I have a simple question that I hope you will be able to answer. Who is responsible for the motorcade costs (when needed) of a funeral when the service is in one location and the burial is at another? Thank you in advance for the answer to this question. All the best,
    Alison F Lotterstein

The municipality or government authority often has regulations on funeral motorcades. Some cities provide this as a service. Some local governments require that the family pay for the service. Some states and local governments do not allow escorts.
