Funeral Guy, why are you so anti-funeral home? Do you not realize that the funeral home offers this merchandise, if I have a family that cannot afford the higher priced caskets, I always, (always) without fail offer them another catalog of just as nice caskets for a lesser price as this distributor is not as expensive as the industry leader in caskets. In many instances, not all but many this price of the lesser priced caskets are equal to or less than so-called internet caskets.

Reply, you might offer your family lower priced caskets, but not many funeral directors do. Why require the consumer to pay more when they do not have to?

The Number one casket maker in America passes on discounts(sometimes huge) that the funeral consumer is not aware of.

I work with several people(funeral homes) who offer a low cost funeral home model. They do a large number of calls a month. It is usually more than the average funeral home does in a year.

This is the future of the funeral biz. Low Cost Funeral Homes are the exception. Some offer Batesville Caskets for a price lower than online caskets. This can be easily done but few do it. The consumer can get high quality merchandise for low cost funerals.

I didn’t know that people have the option to buy a funeral casket online. That seems like that would be very convenient for people who are trying to plan a funeral in a hurry. It’s good to know that I can get a casket from an online funeral service within as little as seventy two hours. That’s good to know considering I need to have a casket for my grandmother before the end of the week.
