While the officers caskets were being carried into the Tacoma dome vehicles were still leaving the airport. Why was there so much support? The officers were targeted and killed simply because they were police officers. Video below.

Lakewood Slain police Offers Funeral will take place at the Tacoma Dome Dec 8th
The Memorial Service for the Lakewood Police Officers will be televised live. Seattle TV stations will be covering the Service LIVE . The Governor of the State of Washington, FBI director, Canadian Mounties are all expected to be present.
As the Three hour Funeral Procession Got under way, The Lakewood Police station was overflowing with flowers.

The Tacoma Dome service, which is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., will be televised live on Seattle channels 4, 5 and 7.
TV stations KOMO, KING and KIRO also plan to pre-empt regular programming to provide live coverage of the 10-mile procession and related activities beginning at 10 a.m.
The three-hour procession of about 2,000 emergency vehicles, led by the slain officers’ families’ motorcade and cars from the Lakewood Police Department, will leave for the Dome from McChord Air Force Base about 10 a.m.

5 DecAn individual memorial service was held for slain LAKEWOOD(Tacoma Washington Area) police officer Tina Griswold- in Shelton, Washington. This is the Officer”s home town where she started as a dispatcher and later joined the police force there.

Griswold, 40, whose maiden name was DeLong, graduated from Shelton High School in 1987. She later went to work as a communications officer at the 911 dispatch center in Shelton in 1992…….Griswold is survived by a 21-year old daughter and a 7-year old son.via www.q13fox.com
The Official Memorial Service For all four Officer will be held at 1pm Tuesday December 8th at the Tacoma Dome.
A little known fact in the Sunday Shooting is that that the Coffee Shop-Forza Coffee- where the Shooting occurred is directed by a former Oakland California Police Officer-Brad Carpenter.
