Senator Burris (D-IL) Please tell us about your a role in the  Illinois Funeral Directors Association’s Preneed Mess. There are certain questions that need to be answered to clear up your connection to the alleged Ponzi Scheme. This will clarify things for all involved.

“When Burris was state comptroller in 1980, he granted the Illinois Funeral Directors Association a license to manage the fund. More than two decades later, the IFDA hired Burris to lobby Comptroller Dan Hynes’ office, which regulates the funeral industry.Burris, a Chicago Democrat, hasn’t answered questions on the matter.”

As you know Senator the there are lawsuits involved with  the IFDA   an alleged Ponzi Scheme. You also are aware that there are unexplainable losses of 59 Million Dollars Plus.

1.Back in 1980, why did you approve the IFDA to manage the IFDA Preneed Trust?

2.Why was not the IFDA Preneed Trust set up with a Corporate Trust?

3.How did you monitor  the  the administration of the IFDA Preneed Trust?

4.When as comptroller did you become aware of for the trust?life insurance policies being used an investment tool

5.Did you know that there were  life insurance policies  on IFDA members and board members?

6. When you were  a lobbyist for the IFDA in 2007  whom did you lobby and on what IFDA concerns?

LESSON IF A POLITICIAN IS INVOLVED WITH A  PRENEED TRUST FUND IT IS PROBABLY BEST NOT TO PURCHASE A POLICY.

Revealed “Tip of the Iceberg” IFDA Scandal-Your Funeral Guy

The IFDA scandal is the tip of the iceberg of bigger scams.

Here is The “Tip of the Iceberg” on the IFDA  Scandal. The license suspension of  Merrill Lynch Employee who sold Key Guy Insurance to the IFDA  shows that the IFDA Scandal is only a small part of a bigger swindle.. This  not good news for the funeral industry, prepaid funerals(preneed) and funeral costs.

The loss of integrity and TRUST by the IFDA is bad enough. There is more.

Merrill Lynch(MLBT) has lost integrity and trust with Wall Street and the American people. So  has the new owner of Merrill Lynch- Bank of America (BOFA). Both have received massive funding from the US Treasury.

Both MLBT and BOFA are under Federal Investigation, and there are signs that the IFDA ( Illinois Funeral Directors Association)and possibly Regulators in Illinois  are being investigated by enforcing agencies.

So we have scandal “IFDA” on top of  scandal “Merrill Lynch” on top of scandal Bank of America.

The Merrill Lynch individual salesman’s License is only a small ice chunk on the  tip of the iceberg. Many investigations are going on by the media ( state,local and national) and State and Federal  Enforcing Agencies.

The significant line  the Chicago Tribune article is this: ” insurance policies was “unsuitable” for the trust and violated state securities laws.” The  Friday the 13th Trib Article” shows that in Illinois that the Secretary of State, the Comptroller, and the Department of Financial Regulation are all investigating.

We know the Senator Burris (D-IL) mess and  Impeached Governor Blagojevich are under the tip of the iceberg with “THE REST OF THE STORY” as well. These two  highly PUBLIC Investigations are connected to the IFDA Funeral Mess.

Time will tell us what is  ALL under the water.

Why Your Funeral guy Guy did you Blog on Senator Burris and the IFDA? The focus of your blog is helping folks with lower cost funerals.

There are two answers.

1.The Scandals in Illinois with Senator Burris and Blagojevich and Senator Burris and the Illinois Funeral Directors Association are beyond Comprehension.

2. The IFDA or ILLINOIS Funeral Directors Association Scandal is an example of how Funeral Directors can overcharge and take more money from you at a time of emotional vulnerability.

The IFDA Board members, funeral directors named and involved as plaintiffs  and defendants all have a human tendency to take more than they deserve. There are only a few decent funeral directors in the mix. Problem is all invovled did not exercise due diligence. So how are they going to be dilligent for You?

This Example of Senator Burris, the IFDA, and others associated with the situation should inspire the public to negotiate lower funeral cost and come in under th average cost of a Funeral.

Thanks to Roland Burris the State of Illinois Is continuing the reputation as the scandal state. The State has been racked with unthinkable disasters in the funeral industry and government.

The Funeral industry debacle has been covered well here.

This is truly a sad situation for the State of Illinois. The Governor Blagojevich scenario is one historical black eye and the two Senator Roland Burris situations are two punches below the belt.

All in a year where an Illinois Senator became President of the United States. Illinois should be shining now.

Instead Barack Obama’s temple “The Land of Lincoln” has been desecrated.

Blagojevich and Burris Scandals are the focus in news around the state.

1.Lisa Madigan Attorney General for the State of Illinois in a written statement said she would not have Jurisdiction in the matter.

2.Michael Madigan from the Statehouse (agreeing with his daughter) stated that the impeachment committee will not be investigated.

3.All documents were handed over to the local States Attorney.

The Illinois Funeral Directors Association and their Alleged Ponzi scheme slides underneath the radar again.

Sadly Senator “Tombstone” Burris Refuses to Resign-yourfuneral guy

Breaking News-February 17th 2009 The Senator from Illinois connected to the Alleged IFDA Ponzi Scheme has refused to resign. Burris  has been called upon to resign by Illinois Lawmakers for making false statements before the impeachment committee of Governor Rod Blagojevitch.

Sadly this is another black mark on the State of Illinois, the funeral industry and the Illinois Funeral directors Association. Burris is connected to the questionable IFDA in that that organization lost 59 million in  a preneed trust fund money fund. Burris assisted with the startup of their alleged  ponzi scheme by giving them their  license, and lobbying for the organization after leaving state office in Illinois.

Any time a  corrupt/questionable politician involves himself in the the funeral industry, it affects funeral cost, the average cost of a funeral and the image of Funeral Directors

The IFDA was mentioned as an alleged Ponzi Scheme in newspapers across state of Illinois and  a plaintiff in a lawsuit.

Then,Fox News reported this on Tuesday.

“CHICAGO — President Barack Obama’s successor in the U.S. Senate, Roland Burris, insisted Monday that he would not resign, following revelations that he had contacts with ousted Gov. Rod Blagojevich’s brother prior to his Senate appointment.”

Burris Lied to US Senate on ILLINOIS FUNERAL DIRECTORS ASSOCIATION.-yourfuneralguy.

Senator Roland Burris lied to the US Senate in a “lie of omission” on the Illinois Funeral Directors Association. Burris failed to mention that he was a lobbyist for this questionable  organization. This happened in questioning in his hearings in the US Senate.

The  Illinois Funeral Directors Association along with their Trust Fund was first reported questionable in a State Journal Register article in February 2008.

The Questionable Illinois Funeral Directors Association  was reported on January 16 2009  along with Burris Involvement in World Net Daily. Burris was also noted as the Government Co-Founder of The Illinois Funeral Directors Association’s IFDA Preneed Trust. As Comptroller in Illinois he issued the license for the fund.

In early February 2009  the IFDA lobbyist Burris Connect was reported in Newspapers across the State of Illinois. It is an established fact.

On February 15th 2008 Burris went to the microphone to defend himself on the Blagovetich connection. It did not go all that good and he may have perjured himself in the Blago Scandal. Did he commit perjury in his statements on the Illinois Funeral Directors Association? Time will tell in each case.

Any time a Questionable Politician that  has ties to to a funeral industry scandal (i.e. IFDA) the industry suffers, the image of funeral directors is blackened and there is conflict on funeral cost, the average cost of a funeral,etc.

Roland Burris is in- bed-ed in the Illinois Funeral Directors Mismangement Debacle or Scandal. In order to prevent another funeral industry/funeral cost  coverup this Senate Nominee needs to answer questions on what he did for the Illinois Funeral Directors Association association as a lobbyist.

On Dec 30th it was announced that Roland Burris was a lobbyist for the Illinios Funeral Directors Association. In Illinos funeral cost has been drastically affected by the IFDA Preneed  Trust Fund Mismanagement Debacle. So has funeral industry reputation.

The Illinois Funeral Directors Association lost 59 million dollars in their fund. Burris served a s a lobbyist  for the Illinois Funeral Directors Asscociation.

The Barack Obama Senate seat nominee needs to reveal what he did while he was in-bed-ed  with the Illinois Funeral Directors Association.

How much has he been paid by the IFDA?

Whom did he lobby for the IFDA?

What were the the Issues?

When did he begin lobbying for the IFDA and when did he stop?

Did he lobby regulators of the funeral industry?

Was he paid with Preneed Trust fund money?

These are just a few Questions that need answers.

These thing need to be revealed now rather than later.

The United States of America  and the State of Illinois cannot afford to wait.
