The Worlds Largest Funeral Corporation, Service Corporation International (SCI) has denied wrong doing in the 2009 veterans abuse scandal. In true SCI fashion they made the “Not Guilty Statement” in corpse abuse but provided no evidence as to why the corporation is innocent. The sandal was first reported in April 2009 by the Washington Post. The company is also known as NYSE:SCI
“A Falls Church funeral home that allegedly mishandled numerous bodies over the past year has denied wrongdoing. Its attorneys wrote to a Virginia regulatory board that the company has not violated any laws or industry standards and that it treats all remains with “the utmost dignity and respect.”
This all took place at the National Funeral home in Falls Church, Virginia. National Funeral Home in Falls Church Virginia and the Demaine Funeral Home in Alexandria Virginia.
