Your Funeral Guy
Breaking News: January 5th 2008-Connection Between Roland Burris and the Illinois Funeral Directors Association was revealed at the end of 2008. This is big news for the Funeral Industry. It took some time for Your Funeral Guy to verify this. The affect on the public’s funeral expenses is not known at this time.
Members of the Illinois Funeral Directors Association were notified about the IFDA Preneed Trust $40 million debacle in February 2008. Burris was lobbyist for the IFDA during the height of the IFDA Mismanagement Debacle. Roland Burris registered as a lobbyist on Jan. 16th 2008.
Snippet#1:”Blagojevich, a Democrat, was arrested this month by federal authorities who said he attempted to profit from his power to fill the Senate seat. The Illinois Legislature is considering impeaching Blagojevich”
After this Governor Rod Blagojevich nominated Roland Burris for Barach Obama’s Senate seat. This was a bold political move. Roland Burris is lobbying hard to be Senator from the State of Illinos.

Senate aims to block Blagojevich’s move
The USA Today article firmly states the Illinos Funeral Director Association connection.
Snippet#2: “Burris registered as a lobbyist Jan. 16 and his clients include cable provider Comcast and the Illinois Funeral Directors Association”
Funeral Professionals are well aware of the IFDA preneed trust probems.
Your Funeral Guy,Kates-Boylston Publications, another Funeral Director Author, a Preneed lawyer have all written and/or done a blog about the IFDA Preneed Trust management debacle.
Snippet #3: State Rep. Jil Tracy, a Republican on the impeachment committee, says she doesn’t know much about Burris but his career and connections with Blagojevich will be “looked at very critically.”
State Rep Jill Tracy and the impeachment commitee need to look at the Illinois Funeral Directors Association not the Hot Rod connection.
Any informed Funeral Director in the State of Illinois could speak to IFDA problems and mismanagement corruption that Burris and the State of Illinos Comptroller know about.
The USA today article is inappropiatly named “Burris Has Been Free of Controversy”

Blagojevich has been so successful at making himself and his office look ridiculous that about a million people are now able to remember and maybe even spell his crazy name — that’s sort of like an accomplishment, right?
Blago appears to be so cunning and deceptive, self serving-but it is he obvious has been that way since he first ran for office. The scary thing is if you watch him closely he does not really interact with anyone
I am sure someone will have fun with his political biography. Yes you are right.
Your Funeral Guy.
At first I thought you were writing tongue in cheek and because as a former trauma hospital nurse, death has a humorous side. Then I kept reading and while I am not aware of your problem in the industry with Burris my comment goes to those that say Burris is without controversy. I love to dislike two of the women panelists on The View as well as question the Walters/Geddie brain power as to why they think the opinion of a comdienne is a good representation of the voice of America. Yesterday Hudson clearly said “Burris is without controversy” and there are people all over this country who believe everything that comes out of her mouth. Me, I know better, show me a clean political person -oops that’s that is an oxymoron.
Thanks for your comment, Burris without controversy, is not the case. I was 27 years old when he was elected Comptroller of the State of Illinois. One does not have to look hard to find his career is tainted. His recent lobbying activities are more than objectionable.
All the best,
R.Brian Burkhardt
